Kathy Rose O'Brien
Kathy Rose most recently performed Stacey Gregg’s piece BRILLIANT as part of Landmark Productions’ and Octopus Theatricals’ Theatre For One project at the Cork Midsummer Festival 2019, alongside actors including Eileen Walsh, Dearbhla Crotty, and Seán McGinley. Other recent credits include COME ON HOME by Philly McMahon, directed by Rachel O’Riordan for the Abbey Theatre.
Kathy Rose is a highly accomplished voice-over artist, and works very frequently in radio drama and narration, in particular winning the Gold Medal for Narration at The New York Festivals Radio Awards 2018 for THE LITTLE PEN PAL (RTE).
She has recently been commissioned to curate a performance & exhibition by The Museum of Literature Ireland (moli.ie) on her grand-aunt, novelist Kate O'Brien, for the museum's launch in 2019.
